Goohawk NAS is a privately operated collection of self-hosted services intended for authorized users.
Information received from Google
When a user signs in with Google, Goohawk NAS may receive basic identity information through Google OpenID Connect, including:
- A unique Google account identifier
- Email address
- Basic profile information, such as name and profile image
Goohawk NAS does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or other Google account content.
How information is used
Google account information is used only to authenticate users, associate their Google identity with an authorized local account, and provide access to supported Goohawk NAS services. It is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Storage
Some authentication information may be stored by the relevant self-hosted application to associate a Google identity with a local account. Other application data, such as media-library permissions, playback progress, bookmarks, preferences, or account settings, may also be stored as part of normal operation.
Sharing
Goohawk NAS does not sell personal information or Google user data. Authentication information is not shared with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Infrastructure providers such as Google and Cloudflare may process information as necessary to provide authentication and secure network connectivity.
Access control
Successful Google authentication does not automatically grant access to Goohawk NAS services. Access is controlled separately by local application accounts and permissions.
Data retention
Account-related information may be retained while a local user account remains active or while necessary to operate the service. Users may request removal of their local account and associated account data by contacting the service administrator.
Security
Goohawk NAS uses reasonable security measures, including HTTPS, secure network connectivity, and OpenID Connect authentication. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Contact
Questions about privacy, access, or account information can be sent to goohawknas@gmail.com.
